In this blog, I will be recording how I am using the money and time you have supported me with every month. Please read it if you are interested. This is a report on my activities for October 2022.
Autumn has finally arrived. It's the season when my favorite sweet potato, Annouimo, is on sale in supermarkets in Kagoshima.

It looks similar to a potato, but it is a variety of sweet potato that is characterized by its sweetness like condensed sweet potato nectar and sticky texture. I call it "natural sweet potato".
By the way, it is said that Annou potatoes were first cultivated in Tanegashima by soldiers who served in Indonesia during World War II, who brought local potatoes back with them.

When making roasted sweet potatoes in the studio, we use the "clay pot style" method that I invented.
The trick to making sweet and delicious baked sweet potatoes is to bake them at a low temperature of 160 degrees for about 90 minutes. They will cook better if you use indirect heating with hot stones rather than direct flame. Therefore, baking sweet potatoes in a clay pot is very effective.
Don't forget to wrap it in wet kitchen paper first, then wrap foil on top of that, as moisture helps to conduct heat better.

In the fall, I roast sweet potatoes about twice a week, so I'm planning to start growing sweet potatoes in this area of my studio by the end of the year. I hope to be able to plant them next spring.
My studio is right next to the sea, so I named the sweet potatoes I grew there "OG Potato (Ocean Grow Potato), " and I fantasized with my friends about growing the seedlings while listening to hip-hop, hand-pushing the potatoes to B-BOYs in Kyushu, and becoming successful potato hustlers!
The punch line "Only police and foil will be wrapped" was born, but so far no actual work has progressed. Only my imagination is expanding.
I've only been talking about sweet potatoes up until now, but I'm still working hard on my creative endeavors. In November, I'm planning to paint two murals in Ibaraki Prefecture, and in December, I'm planning to paint one mural each in Tokyo and Kanagawa.
This concludes our activity report for October 2022. Thank you for reading to the end.
